I'm from the Philadelphia area and I would say that Penn State isn't unreliable at all. From my experience at my law firm (paralegal), the school gets a good amount of respect. I would say Pitt. gets more, though.

Hey guys, what's going on? I've applied to law schools in mid february and I was just wondering how soon you guys think I'll hear back. I know it probably depends on the school, but even a general idea would be abfab. hell, lie to me if you have to.

Aw... I checked 8:30, 8:45, 9:30, 10:00 and just now (10:45). Maybe by force of will they'll appear sooner
Hey guys, what's doing? I just signed up for these boards, but I've been reading everything you guys have been writing for awhile. Anywho, my question is basically, "What are the chances that I'll get into any of these schools?"
LSAT 151 + ?? (2/2/06 LSAT)
Paralegal experience (mostly courtroom work. have ABA cert with 3.3 gpa)
Have a great resume (been working since I was 16 (86)
In no particular order:
>Bear in mind, money isn't an issue. Scholarships don't factor in. And I know, I know...my scores aren't that hot. But my GPA is due to some 3rd party circumstances which I've listed in my applications (the 3.3 I recieved in the paralegal studies is closer to home) so hopefully they'll weigh that in as well. Anyway, any thoughts would be helpful!
