I'm just trying to dampen this unrealistic enthusiasm that most T3 students have that "they'll be the one who makes it."
You know why I love UF, because there are a bunch of UGA's running all over the place with their head stuck in a cloud. And its somewhat disheartening. I went to UF and attitudes like that are really irritating. I work in gainesville, I see lawclerk after lawclerk, I could sit here all day and tell you about the ones that can't find jobs after law school (even with solid work experience in the field). Just because you go to a better ranked school does not mean that will help you, you're not going to Harvard. The main point that needs to be made is that connections are key, but that is the same whether you went to a "T1-2" or a "T3"
