I'm not saying it will be worth less than 100K, I was just alluding to my previous post that you should do cost-benefit analysis on the tuition price.

I'm "studying" for a con law final- reread a case, goof off on the net. repeat as necessary.

And I have a biglaw summer gig, TYVM.

That's not fair. I just offered you a job and since we are "small law" you won't have to bring drinks to as many people as you will be at your "big law" gig.  Think about it and get back to me.

One more thing, if you are a 1L at UF why are you always on the computer, don't you have things to do?  If you need a job, we need someone to pick up our soft drinks for clients, I think that would be good legal experience for you to put on your biglaw resume.

When people ask for advice on this board they are hoping you know something about it.  We can all add our opinions all day but it doesn't have any merit if you don't have facts to support it.  When I go to an adviser at school I hope their "advice" isn't their "opinion."

he probably missed it. hadn't gotten to the "attention to detail" class at UF yet.

:D I'm just trying to dampen this unrealistic enthusiasm that most T3 students have that "they'll be the one who makes it."

You know why I love UF, because there are a bunch of UGA's running all over the place with their head stuck in a cloud.  And its somewhat disheartening.  I went to UF and attitudes like that are really irritating.  I work in gainesville, I see lawclerk after lawclerk, I could sit here all day and tell you about the ones that can't find jobs after law school (even with solid work experience in the field). Just because you go to a better ranked school does not mean that will help you, you're not going to Harvard. The main point that needs to be made is that connections are key, but that is the same whether you went to a "T1-2" or a "T3"

After- "LUCKKKKY"  I hope to finalize my decision by next week...ghh excruciating!

Good Luck Push!   :o
