Choosing the Right Law School / Re: 2006-2007 FAFSA

The FAFSA does not require parental information BUT a lot of big law schools require you to fill out additional forms that do.

Choosing the Right Law School / Re: Cornell vs. Wash U vs ND
« on: February 13, 2006, 05:47:39 PM »
I'm going to visit all three and see how I feel.  The debt is somewhat of a factor but I know that Cornell will get me so much in the future.  I just hope I feel happy at one of the schools. :)

I did early action and was very early in the process. I think I went complete before the end of October. Hope that helps!

I'm just not a last minute person.  I'm going to see how my visits go and if I completely fall in love with one school, that will be it. I don't think I *need* to know if I could get into Northwestern if I'm happy with my choice.  Good luck to you and your partner! :)

Choosing the Right Law School / Withdrawing applications by e-mail?
« on: February 13, 2006, 01:26:11 PM »
I have definitely eliminated a few schools. Is it ok to just send an e-mail to the admissions office or should it be written and snail-mailed?  Thanks in advance.

Our schools are really similar! ND is definitely in the running. I can't wait to see it. :)

How funny! I got into W&M with money first week in December.  It's all about various kinds of diversity (including what state you're from.)  I"m not sure if I'm going to stay on the Northwestern waitlist or not (still mulling it over but I guess it can't hurt.)

I was pretty surprised, too!  I've lived in Boston my whole life though so I think it's time for me to go somewhere else for awhile.  Where else are you considering?

Just curious what schools you're also considering?  I'm currently deciding between Cornell, ND and Wash U.  I'll be at the ND admitted student day on Feb. 24th.

No, on Saturday.  They'd already deferred me from their EA pool.  Oh well, I'd rather go to Cornell!

Are you still waiting?
