Personal Statement / PS critique trade anyone?« on: October 01, 2006, 05:10:40 PM »
I'll send you mine, you send me yours. I just want a basic gut reaction from people, good, bad or in between. I have seriously re-written the thing so many times I have completely lost perspective. It is a personal statement, btw, so please no "but it doesn't talk about why you want to go law school" comments, I have a whole other essay for that purpose. Shudder, that one is in even worse shape.

I mean really. Some schools say they require one or two LORS but they "recommend" three or four recommendations. Are people planning to get these "extra" recommendations? Does four seem completely over the top to anyone else?
