Louis Gerstner (or Richard Branson), John Kerry and Val Kilmer.

I remember watching Val Kilmer on Inside the Actor's Studio and thinking, man, that guy is weird, yet intriguing.  Probably talks all in tangents and stuff, much like having dinner with Robin Williams.

As for Chappelle,

"I wish I had more thumbs because I'd give those titties for thumbs down!"

Purdue University

B.S. in Management, May 2004

Go Boilers!

I second Boxergirl on Nashville.  I have a lot of relatives that I visit quite frequently in the area.  Tons to do, although its a travesty that they tore down Opryland.  I also have a good friend of mine waitlisted at Vandy who really likes the scene there.  I would consider Nashville to be one of the nicer cities in the south.

Gonzaga baby.

I'm looking forward to those awesome rainy days.

Ah, I'm dumb.  I missed the "law" part of that in my reading of the question.  Sorry about that.

It certainly would have been nice if Purdue would have had a law program, then I could have spent another rockin' 3 years in West Lafayette.

And by Hoosier, I typically imply someone who went to Indiana University, Bloomington.

Again, oops.

Law School Admissions / Re: Addenda

I was talking to a friend of mine who was also applying to law school for this past admission cycle and he had something like 4 addendums for all his various situations (GPA, LSAT, brushes with the law, personal situations).  So if you want to include a bunch of addendums, go for it.

I think it really comes down to you and how you may feel about including all of these various aspects in your application.  I do believe that you are absolutely correct about the personal statement being a "positive spin" on your application.

Mimic: Typical answer from a Hoosier, not to mention Purdue (which is where I went).

I live in Prescott, Arizona.  3.5 hrs from U of A, 1.5 hrs from ASU, 1.5 hrs from Northern Arizona and 4.5 hrs from UNLV.
