My name is Sharona and I will be taking the June 2011 LSAT in hopes of gaining admission in fall 2012. I am a non-traditional student. This is a career change for me. Any advice?

Basically the title.

I plan on sending out a few apps next week and was wondering who I should target.
I imagine it is hard to predict because I'm a URM splitter.
I used one of the calculators and it seemed overly optimistic.....

please give me some: reaches, safties, and targets.

Apply to friend got in with a 3.2. Your LOR must be strong as well as your personal statement.

Black Law Students / Re: chances at Howard Law

Slim to none. Retake untill you get a 160 and retake a bunch of crazy easy undergrad classes(whatever ones that even stoners take and ace nowdays)
to raise the GPA. Then you should be ok. Nothing wrong with looking at the other hundreds of options either too though.

Why slim to none? My friend got into Howard Law with a 3.3 and a 148 and 149 on the LSAT. To boot, he won a scholarship as well.
