High LSAT - I had a 2.4 UGPA and got into a T1.

Get LORs and write good essays.  A little graduate work never hurt your prospects either.  Best of luck.

Doesn't look like he got the job because of his online law degree.

"Prior to becoming OTS director, Mr. Gilleran served as chief executive of the Bank of San Francisco from 1994 until it was sold to First Banks America Inc. in December 2000.

His previous regulatory experience includes serving as superintendent of the California State Banking Department from 1989 to 1994. He also served as Chairman of the Conference of State Bank Supervisors in 1993-94 and as a member of its Bankers Advisory Council until 2000. Mr. Gilleran, a certified public accountant, began his career in 1958 with the accounting firm of KPMG Peat Marwick and served as the firmís managing partner for Northern California from 1977 to 1987, as well as partner in charge of the western region banking practice."

I had a 2.4 and have gotten into a few T2's and not yet dinged at some T1's. --Keep hope alive.

Study for the LSAT, do well, go to an ABA school and enjoy yourself.

Dude...READ THE POST. This guy is not trying to transfer in the middle of a joint degree program...HE's TRYING TO START ONE WHEN HE TRANSFERS.....and HE SAID THAT IT WASN'T CLEAR ON THE WEBSITE....YOU GINORMOUS TOOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow Budlaw, for someone WRITING IN ALL CAPS ABOUT READING THE POST, maybe you should have read mine.  I said in that post that I know there are limits on how many MBA classes you can have, but have never heard of a limit on JD classes.  If you fail to see relevance / parallel, you are an idiot, or as a wise man once said "A GINORMOUS TOOL"

Learned, Sorry for the bad news.
