Hey, if you're still alive at this point, that means they found something in your app interesting.
Heh, I'd like to think that... but I imagine it's more a factor of how late I applied. But still, as long as I haven't gotten the ding, there is hope! I want to be one of those 2$ chiashu success stories.

You know, I actually never got an email when my GULC status changed to 'complete'. I just randomly checked it one day, and there it was. So... maybe a glitch? In any case, you might be justified in checking every once in a while.

I don't feel that I can complain because I applied late January, but still, every day I don't get mail I get a little crankier. :-p

I haven't gotten a single thing from law schools in a whole week. I realized that I get really cranky on days I don't get mail, heh. I think it's becaues our mail comes REALLY late (between 4 and 4:30), and so I feel like I'm waiting for it all day and then it's a huge letdown.
I haven't gotten a single rejection yet, and I'm scared they're all going to come at once and make me cry. :-p

Oooooh I thought BU was one of the ones with phonecalls. I'm going to be stalking my mailbox now. :-D

I should probably expect a ding soon, then.
*holds out some hope*

Does BU always send complete notices?
I haven't gotten one, maybe I should call...

I got a voicemail message - I guess yesterday, but I didn't notice it until today. They said they'd be mailing materials on Monday.

It would be really nice if it was the policy for all schools to send you complete notifications, so you know that if you don't get one, something is wrong. As it is, not all of the schools I've been accepted notified me beforehand that I was complete. So now there are schools I've received no notifications from, and I'm wondering if I should just assume that they won't as well? (Though I did apply late, I suppose it's possible that they haven't put my file together yet, though at this point it seems somewhat unlikely).
Anyone know if UCLA, BU, GW, or USC tend to send out complete notifications? I really don't want to start calling, blegh.

Oh, that's a good point about the endowments! Didn't think about that.
It just seems intuitive to me that each school would be offering its top scholarships to the best people they let in - which probably means that those people are getting into better schools as well, who in turn are giving the scholarship money to people who have better numbers than them... and so on and so forth until you get to HYS. So it seems that most people (assuming they apply to a range of schools including safeties) would have the same sort of choice: lower ranked school with lots of money, or higher ranked school with no money.
As for me, if I got into Stanford or something (yeah, right), they could tell me I have to pay twice the tuition as everyone else and I'd probably still go. :-p
