GA State is actually really great. I'm from Atlanta, and my roommate last year was a 1L there. She got into Georgetown but then decided that she really wanted to stay in Atlanta, and never once regretted her decision - so she must have really liked it! Plus it's a great place to live - me, I'm ready to get out but that's only because I've been here for so long and am dying to try someplace new.

I ended up sending in way more applications that I had originally planned for - I think it's at twenty now, but the only one I have left is Georgia State, which I'm only applying to in case for some bizarre reason I absolutely have to stay in Atlanta (please god no).

I cast a pretty wide net because 1) last year I was rejected from every PhD program I applied to (a blessing in disguise, it turns out, but it still left me paranoid) and 2) I have two many reaches because I'm an eternal optimist.

I knew that I was getting a very late start, but I didn't realize quite how late until I started reading this board. Now I'm even more nervous!

But no, definitely no decisions yet. Of course, I didn't get any apps out until about two weeks ago, so I haven't been expecting anything.

I guess my biggest would be the MS degree - which I'm not really sure is all that impressive at all. I should have just taken an extra two years to get my undergraduate degree, taken less classes each semester, and gotten a better uGPA.

I seem to remember Case having on their online application a box for "check here if you haven't already received an admissions booklet in the mail". Maybe that's why?
