What about wearing regular, stylish boots in the rain?

Eh, boots are hot, though.  If it's muggy and raining, I want breathable shoes that dry quickly.  'course, I usually opt for flipflops and ignore the floating disease in which I'm treading.

but with flip flops, your feet get slippery.  and then you walk on a tiled floor, fall and break your tail bone.

crocs are non slip.

Sweet goodness, so true.  It's terrifying!  But then again, I can't walk in any kind of shoe when it's wet.

ibroadrunr is clumsy, yes.

Crocs are fugly and expensive, considering.  I saw some guy wear 'em to my lab class, and I thought he'd just bought some cheap slipons to fit the "closed toes" requirement....Then I saw them at the effing grocery store for $36.  The hell?

Practical, I can understand, but paying more than $4 for that *&^%?  Unh-uh.

EDIT: not that, you know, I'm passionate about this or anything

Aw, I just realized that even if I do reapply and get accepted at the end of my two-year reactivation period, a lot of LSD folk will be gone or heading out.  Sadness.

(PS, I just caught up on a few months of posts here, and the website is quite improved from its previous incarnation.)

Ha!  I laugh at the intelligent reading here.  I just finished reading a supernatural romance series by MaryJanice Davidson ("Undead and...").  Once I got past the less-than-enthralling start of book #1, it was a wonderfully light-hearted collection.  I even laughed out loud at times.  Snappy dialogue.

Kind of...kind of like a vampire queen version of Buffy, sometimes.  Early Buffy.

How can I ever resist these polls?   ::)

All three can be lovely or awkward, depending on the folks involved.

Re: two straight men and a woman, it can still work out nicely for the gal.  If the men are comfortable enough being sexual around each other (secure hets), they mainly just get to focus on the lady.  Not a bad deal for her, really.
