Continuing with my pony meme...
If you're going to wish for a pony, wish for the most special, happiest, most boo-tiful pony possible.
Translation- if you are thinking of transferring, make the transfer worth it. For the most part, in order to transfer, you have to be near the top of your class. This means that all that hard work you've done for the last year goes *poof* when you get your pony, 'cuz those grades don't mean jack. Sometimes its best to keep those grades and graduate near the top of your class at the school you're at than to transfer and start all over again. If you're at FSU, for example, why transfer to University of Florida and lose your grades?
If you're looking to trtansfer from a lower ranked school to a T20 school, or, especially, a T10 school, it might very well be worth it. These schools, as much as I hate to say it (break out the haterade), *are* different. You can finish in the middle or lower part of your class and get a very good job. That's just the way it is.
So if you're #1 at Tier3 State University, you have nothing to lose if you want to get one of the top 15 ponies in the world.
But remember- not everyone should ride a pony.
you're an idiot, did you by chance fall off a pony when you were little and land on your head??
