You forgot my beloved UW Huskies. It's not too often we have a basketball that rocks. So I need to follow my team. Go DAWGS!

One of my classic stories had me hitchhiking.
I asked the driver if he was headed my way. He said no. I said whatever and hopped on in. Then I blacked out. When I came to, I was about 20 miles from my home. The adventure didn't start or end there, but it was definitely one of the highlights.

If those people voting on 1 issue at least examined other issues to make sure the others didn't outweigh their 1 issue, then fine their vote was thoughtful. But the people who vote on 1 issue, without considering the others, those are the people who need to re-examine their vote. Those people are the ones that bother me. They aren't looking in the best interest of the country in my opinion.

I agree. I think the morality issue needs to take a backseat. That is my opinion and others don't agree. But this single issue can't take priority to the other major issues in a time like today. I am fine with people saying the morality issue was a major factor backed up with policy on terrorism, healthcare, economy...But I hate it when people decide who to back on single issues. Surely you must agree with that?

Yes, but things based on religion are important to people, but we have a separation between the state and religion. So these issues shouldn't come into play. I agree that I don't see the big fuss on these issues, but the issues do not dictate if this country is successful. War, economy, healthcare these are issue which should be the forefront issues of any campaign.

Here is my beef with a number people who voted. They voted on issues such as abortion, stem cell research, etc. I have no problem looking at a Republican and disagreeing with their economic plans. Their foreign policy, but when a large portion of the vote is on these single moral issues I feel these decisions are not looking at the whole picture. Because the well being of America should be considered when voting for our leader. People who vote on single issues are generally selfish and only thinking of themselves. I just wish people would open their minds to what else is at stake. That is just what I think.
