This actually happened to me to.  The recommender just missed my original email.  I politely emailed to check up on the progress.  Saying I hadn't heard back from you, so I just to make sure they received the email.  That shouldn't be too bad.  Good Luck!

I agree that this is LSAC's intentions, but the statement could be perceived differently.  The paragraph preceding the statement explicitly says the recommendation is to remain confidential.  Although by saying you are waiving your rights does not mean your rights can't be handed to you.

For example, one can waive their rights to a speedy trial, but if a speedy trial is given it is not invalid.  A bit of ambiguity exists.  And I think it is up for interpretation.

Yes it is UG.  But that means you never saw an acceptance letter.  This could also be thin.

What are you doing?  It is an immaterial detail.  Just approximations will do.  No one will care nor will you feel any reprecussions from reporting an inexact date.  Just let it be.

I have 2 processed LOR's and 1 which has been mailed to LSAC, but not yet processed.  As I understand it, this third letter will be distributed to all school requesting reports once the LOR is processed.  But I am not sure.  Does anyone know if the letter will be automatically sent, even to school in which it is not required but accepted?

Thanks for any input!

With the new LOR format on LSAC, you can choose where your letters go.  So I would get all three and submit them to LSAC.  Then you can choose which letters go to which schools.

Are you from the Northwest?  Those are a few of the schools I am applying for.  I have turned in Seattle U. and Willamette, but Lewis & Clark says they are even accepting apps untill 11/1.  You should be fine.  Just get them in before December 1 if you are worried.  This way they will process the application before they leave for the holiday.  Good Luck!

Yeah, that was my source.  I actually checked and UMichigan sends a thin letter before the full admissions packet.

Thin mail is usually bad, but there are many schools who send acceptance letters in thin envelopes.  So don't fret even when the real deal shows up.

If I remember correctly you are right.  The person was selling the classroom materials which they are slightly more sensitive over.  But reselling the LG Bible should be okay as well all the other store bought books.
