Law School Applications / Re: Dual Degree Programs« on: August 06, 2007, 11:18:47 AM »
It depends on what you want to do. I want to do joint JD/PhD and as far as I've researched, Columbia, Yale, Penn, Stanford and Harvard let you do the PhD in pretty much whatever you want. I need to poke around the other t14 websites and see what else I can find on the subject.

Law School Applications / Re: 2007-2008 Fee Waiver Roll Call« on: July 13, 2007, 06:17:18 PM »
Got one from ND, I'm surprised since fee waivers are usually really scarce for reapplyers.
I have a question. If I got a fee waiver for a school last cycle, would it look bad if I e-mailed the school to see if they'll give me another one this year? 56
Law School Applications / Re: Complete ACL Tear. Should I Defer?« on: July 09, 2007, 12:58:30 PM »
I'd defer. Recovery takes time and rest and I doubt you;d be able to get much of that worrying about 1L classes. Also, if you're hobbling around, you run the risk of injuring yourself further so I don't think it'd be worth it. Talk to the school, explain the situation and see if they'd let you defer.
Feel better! 57

Spanish and French double major here, but I've concentrated in literature instead of linguistics. I'm a native spanish speaker so if anyone wants to practice via PM, don't hesitate. I also did three years of italian.
