To me, the Midwest seems like a sad, dreary place. The weather, the accents, etc...
However, Washington University seems like a good school, with a good law program, and St. Louis seems like it could maybe be okay. Plus, you have to consider the kicker-- they offered me a fantastic scholarship.
Should I be considering WUSTL, even if I have no interest in living in the Midwest at all?
UNC remains, more or less, the only school I haven't heard from (at this point, I have only been notified of my Duke rejection via cosmic mindwaves).
I probably won't go to UNC no matter what, but it's not totally off of my list, so I decided to call just to see where my application was at. The lady on the phone told me that they haven't even looked at it! Jeez. I sent it to them in early December. Seems to me like they are going to be losing plenty of good candidates simply because of their slowness.
I am currently living outside of Asheville, North Carolina, which is in the western part of the state. I'd love to hitch a ride if you're driving to one of the Vandy Admit Days... either one can work. I don't think my car can make it all the way to Nashville. I'll help with gas and can drive too. Let me know.
