I have a 3.91 GPA and scored an average of 168 on the LSAT (163 in OCt and 172 in Dec). I wrote an addendum explaining the reason for the divergent LSAT scores (my wife was plowed by a Honda CRV three weeks prior to the Oct LSAT...while walking down the sidewalk!!!). I am in my early thirties, have prior military service, and worked an average of 30 hours a week during the last three years of undergraduate (this was in addition to a ninety minute round trip commute each day). I also have my MS in Teacher Education. The bad news is that my ECs are fairly weak, mainly due to the hours I worked as an undergrad. I have applied to the following schools:
Harvard
Virginia
Michigan
Duke
Vanderbilt
UNC - Chapel Hill
Washington & Lee
Wake Forest
I am concerned that I need to apply to more schools. I am considering Emory, Georgia, and Tennessee. What are my chances at the 8 I have applied to? Should I consider adding a safety school or two? Thanks for any replies.
Best Regards,
