I will be headed there. I am going to check out apartments sometime next week.

Law School Applications / Re: HELP!! Can I still get off waitlists without updating my senior year grades?« on: May 17, 2006, 12:12:13 PM »
From what I have seen, you can go ahead and just leave them be and not send anything unless a school specifically asks for them. I have not sent mine in and I've been accepted off of two waitlists, including one of the schools you listed.
I wonder if they would let me camp out in the forest next to the school if I brought a tent...
That certainly wouldn't be a problem...while visiting their campus it was definitely tough to admit to myself that I might not only be attending a rival school, but that their campus was so much better looking than ours...
I was actually hoping that I would be able to find an unfurnished place since I live so (relatively) close to Bloomingotn and my parents have some extra furniture. However, I am quite surprised as almost every single apartment here on the UIUC campus is furnished.
To those who commented on the parking: it seems as though free parking is difficult to find, but do you know if there are lots available where I could pay for a spot?
nmathe, thanks for the info. Graduation is this weekend so I hope to get out to Bloomington sometime next week and I will definitely give Poolside a look.
EDIT: Does anyone know if the law school offers any type of parking?
Has anyone set up an IU-B googlegroups email. If not, I will try to figure out how to do that.
That would be great if you could do that.
Does anyone know where they're going to be living this fall? I've been checking around, but have only really been able to find stuff further off campus. Does anyone know what the main leasing agencies around campus in Bloomington are?
I believe that the one on Kings Way would be in the nicest area and is in a good location as far as shopping, getting groceries, etc. goes.
The other two properties you mentioned are in better areas than I thought, at Bradley and a different set of rail tracks. However, I'm not familiar enough with those two areas to comment on which one would really be the better of the two.
