Acceptances / Re: FSU/UF/UM Help!

Thank you so much! I will definitely look into the links you posted right now.  I know UF is "the obvious" choice, maybe I was just getting caught up in the hype of the city of Miami versus Gville.  Thanks again!

Acceptances / FSU/UF/UM Help!
« on: November 30, 2010, 10:20:09 AM »
I'm from the NY area and am trying to attend law school in FL (and eventually practice there) because my family recently moved there.  I was accepted into UM, UF and FSU and am really having a hard time choosing.  I know the rankings are clear but I've read about so many other factors that seem to give more credit to the lesser ranked schools in this discussion.  Any advice would be appreciated!!!

So, I got a 166 on the LSAT and have a 3.5 from a NY state school.  I get mixed reviews on where I should be applying.  Some say I'm right on target looking at schools like UMaryland and UFlorida and others are telling me I have a good shot at T14.  Really looking for some sound advice because I don't want to over estimate, especially when not receiving fee waivers from these schools -- I'd hate to sell myself short, though.

Thanks!
