i got in at southwestern in LA and Uni. of SD. both not the greatest schools out there
 , but oh well, i take what i can get. im just babysitting the mailbox until i get those UC letters!

It's not based on anything, you just select to transfer and you do the extra 1L classes in the summer. You'll be a full time 2L just like everyone else. thanks! is it possible for me to ask them to waitlist me for a day division spot now? and hopefully by the fall id would be fulltime if theres a spot available? from what i gather it sounds like i have to wait until im a 2L... 294

in 3 years you will have a jd and be able to practice law. in 5 years no one will care about the fact that you went to golden gate. 295

i just got into USD, the admit packet only included the letter and an application to apply for financial aid. i dont believe the scholarship committee has even started meeting yet.
before i got admitted though, i did not recieve any mailers from the school though. the financial aid postcard might be a good sign, it might mean you are within the range of what they will consider admitting. 296

i am a newbie to the lawschool game. i applied to almost all the schools on the table here, except for cooley bc its not in CA. but whats the deal with cooley? why does it get trashed so much? whats so bad about it?

I have been accepted into USD, still not my top choice, but I'm getting there i suppose. The thing is, USD accepted me into the evening division. I have no intention of working, and i detest night school, long nights at my undergrad have taught me to hate them. How do i go about transfering to the day/ fulltime division? Is it some piece of paperwork i fill out? Is it even possible? Is transfering to different divisions a common thing to do in lawschool?

I have just been accepted to Southwestern Law school. I am pretty sure I got into pepperdine and Loyola also. Can Anyone tell me their impressions about each school? What are the campuses like and how do the social scenes compare? I applied to all these schools blind without knowing much about them accept their ranking and a couple mailers i got.
