For me they were pretty quick, I can't tell you exactly because I wasn't keeping track, but they were the first reply I got, along with a $33,000 scholarship offer. It was definitely a nice way to start things off, even though I doubt I'll be going there.

Rejected via snail mail on Saturday, I think. (I took a break from frantically checking the mail over the weekend.)

i wonder if i know you....i'm a poli sci/communications major, so you may know me either as the obnoxiously outspoken class person, or as the obnoxious drunk at soga's, pasta?, or froggy's.

We might, you can look me up on facebook if you wish, my sn on here is all you'd need, plus I'm a poli sci/soc major. I'm also obnoxiously outspoken, especially in those classes where the professor won't go on until someone answers him/her and no one else is forthcoming or awake. I'm the obnoxious drunk at Sophia's, Bernardo's, or G Street though, so our obnoxious drunk paths may not have crossed. As for going here, I know its a good school, but 3 more years at UCD without all of my amazing friends who made my undergrad years such good times seems depressing. As it stands, I'd probably go with USC or Cornell.

Hello right back...but dammit, I looked at your stats and you make me look bad. Stop that immediately! Then again, maybe there's room for more than one Aggie at Berkeley (my top choice..arg.)

Me too, finallllllly. Before that they'd last updated on the 3rd. I'm an undergrad at Davis, so I doubt I'll go here, but its nice to know they still want me.  :)

Ohhhh, burned. And burned so so bad. Whatever Georgetown, if I leave CA I'm going to Cornell or something, so, you know, whatever. Not like I would go there anyway.

I'm just bitter because this is my first rejection.  :'(

I kind of find it hard to believe that Georgetown would be my first ding, but I'm probably just getting unnecessarily cocky. Anyway, I think I probably got in and I can't get on to the admitted student's site yet either.

I also just went decision...why can't they just email like the rest of the non-cruel schools?

Got my packet today, and I got a little note from the admissions person about welcoming another Horgan to the school (same last name, not related.)

I loved the little note from the SBA. Especially the part about resting on our laurels for a while because we earned it...I tooootally agree. Which is why I'm on this board rather than doing reading for classes.
