:: 3L fistbumps Cady ::

I think I'm going to wallow in the anticlimax for a little while, then go for a walk before the rain comes through.

I will think encouraging thoughts for all the folks who are still working!

The rules are fun! And important! And useful! Whereas Erie and venue will come up..... never.

It always seemed uncool to admit it, but I liked the rules.  Procedure is basically a big game, and something about having a defined framework of constraints in which to achieve some goal always appealed to my engineering brain.

It also helped that patent procedure makes the FRCP look like Chutes 'n Ladders (as do the rules of just about any administrative agency, I imagine).

I love tax.  Seriously.  I totally missed my calling.

I WOULD PROSECUTE YOU TO THE FULLEST EXTENT OF THE LAW!

Was she in the same car with Cornell?  If so, then you're good. Wait.... crud.

In the spirit of Dash, I would like to note that "wtf" only appears 7 times in my crim pro notes.  I think that shows remarkable restraint.

So...does anyone have a good PR outline?

There must be a better place to look!

Srsly.

Even if I did, you wouldn't want it.  One of my worst classes.

IO, vague N, I think I successfully squirmed out of an uncomfortable situation at work, and I am feeling a little better about life in general.  Soon, this will be over!

Nice job on the squirming!

I'm taking my crim pro exam.  The phrase "probable cause" is tugging at my brain.  Is that in the law somewhere?  Yeah this last one is not going to be pretty.

My friend, who is a 6th grade teacher, just called me to have me explain (on speaker phone) to her class why, if people are innocent until proven guilty, the police can put them in jail before/during their trial.

I don't have a good answer for this.  Hm.  This might be a problem for me soon.
