It is amazing! I hope you all soon feel the same kind of occasional pleasant tingle that I've experienced whenever I notice that my life doesn't suck anymore. Although I highly recommend against making homemade marshmallows as a way to luxuriate in the freedom. Damn things aren't any better than the store-bought kind. Which... ew.
And I did not move! I helped a friend move out to CadyLaw city -- drove out with her and her wee pooch and helped unpack for a few days, then flew home. The liquor laws out there are entirely uncivilized, I must say. When I got home I bought smokes, booze, and a lottery ticket in the same place, just 'cause I could. I think maybe I spent too much time in Texas. 13

I think my summer has been better than most of y'all's. But I still have a bit tediousness to deal with--I have to make a 15-minute presentation for a job interview on Tuesday, and finish a brief in support of a pet for cert. I also think I really have to learn to network over the next few days before I go to my conference thingie over the weekend. Can I learn to pretend to care in five days? But I don't have to do any of that crap that has turned everybody I know into an ass. The level of happiness I'm feeling as a result of being free from legal theory and hypothetical legal questions is sort of astonishing. My husband is so very pleased. I'm so far from the end of my tether right now that I reckon I could knit myself some socks with the slack. 14
