Aww man, Weidner or FL Coastal?  Neither is such a good choice.  If I were you I'd try to check the acceptance rate off the summer programs.  Some schools (like Mason) only accept a small percentage from there summer programs- its not a sure thing.

As far as between these two schools?  Weidner DE?  All the Coastal grad I've met...all of them, regretted going there.  Weidner DE has decent placing in DE.  Harrisburg, not so much.

I also think Weidener accepts a decent percentage from TAP.  Be warned, however, the attrition there is almost %50.  But FL Coastal has awful attrition too.

Don't do online law school, the chances of success with that is way too low.  But I have met successful Widner DE grads, quite a few in fact- there are opportunities in DE.

Sorry about you fam.  Gook luck.

Where should I go next fall? / Re: Cooley vs Capital
« on: May 04, 2012, 02:45:28 PM »
I agree with the gist, but not the specifics. Do any of those firms hire anyone from out of the top 14?

Cooley often gets singled out because they are a T4, making it seem its just them that suck, when in fact many schools have hiring issues with the big law firms.  There are countless schools that could be substituted for "Cooley" in this analysis.

I going to Cooley a good idea?  Probably not for most.  FL has several tank schools, not just Cooley.  Ever talked to a FL Coastal grad?

^^^ Don't trust any of that.  How do those Capitol numbers compare with say, Akron, which I know is fine.  Is 1,131 inactive out of almost 6,000 normal?  I'm assuming most of those are retires.  Is 153 with disciplinary action normal?  Doesn't seem too many out of 6000.

I'm personally not a big fan of Cooley, but what some fool at some unnamed firm says....come on.

Did the OP call two thirds of the population morons?  This guy?  Seriously?

This guy calling anyone else a moron is the most horrifying case of calling the kettle black I have ever seen- including the Newt.

Let me get this straight: there are people that think T.V. shows are educational?  Its just a show, not designed to be anything other than entertaining.  What could you possibly learn?

I like Star Trek, but other than social satire and criticisms, which is present in any worthwhile piece of lit or film, I'm not expecting to learn anything about physics or molecular bio.  Boston Legal is funny and entertaining, but that's about it.
