She's been a great role model for me, although I think she buys into the theory that going to law school is "selling out". 13

My sister is PBK and a Fulbright scholar. Damn her. Her hubby is a successful attorney with a 6-figure salary. Damn both of 'em.

So now I know 100% that I'm going to NYU if Yale doesn't come through, so in a way this makes my life simpler. But it still hurts to get my first ding My sister applied to law schools at the same time I did, and we both like to joke about our dings. She got another one the other day and said, "So, I took the rejection letters, framed them, and now I have a matching set of 6 on my wall!" Plus, being waitlisted isn't a true ding. And there are thousands of us who would do anything to go to NYU ... What's up with those Yalies? Ugh, the torment of waiting for a decision!!!! 16

I was told that the full admissions packet was scheduled to be mailed to me on Monday , 4/26. pinktinker: Did you apply to FT or PT? Do you mind if I ask for your stats? Still waiting ...
