I did an LDR from Austin to Los Angeles.  Didn't work.

It'll depend on your attitudes toward it.  If you're willing to accept that it'll be an LDR for x amount of years, fine.  If she's always pushing you to transfer to TTT's just to be near her and freaking out because you flew out to see her after 5 weeks instead of the customary 4, it sure as hell won't work.

Liberty just sent me an email about their provisional ABA approval.

Same here.  Didn't know you could apply to go to prison...

I agree the economy is beginning to show some signs of life, but it still stinks.

Pay attention to the news, dude.  The economy is in better shape than it was before the crash of 99-2000.

god I hope so... :-\

nice avatar by the way.

I'm freaking out about it too, actually.  I've gotten a waitlist from a school that I thought I had a legit shot at and a deferral at a safety.  I think I might be screwed. :-\

Law School Admissions / Re: Why Minnesota
« on: February 14, 2006, 07:13:59 PM »
Generally people usually write their reasons for wanting to go to Minnesota...

Seems to me if you don't really have any reasons, you might not even want to go.  You can write a generic essay on why Minnesota, but if you're this confused, I think it'll most likely end up sounding insincere.  The answer's gotta come from you.

I've heard that places like Boalt aren't so much focused on a high LSAT, but prefer a higher GPA.  But what are the schools that are LSAT whores?  Who wants splitters ilke me? ???
