jrw,

Another question is what are some of the cases we look at in Civ Pro, Torts, and Property?

Thanks again.

jrw,

I'm attending Widener Delaware Campus and I was wondering what the best method for taking notes is if you're not using a laptop.  In undergrad I used folders, looseleafs, and spirial notebooks depending on the class.  But are the classes handout heavy, note-taking heavy, or what.  I've spoken to many lawyers all of whom give me vague answers and I was just hoping an actual Widener student could give me some note taking pointers on Torts, Civ Pro, Property, and Legal Methods.

Thanks in advance.

General board for soon-to-be 1Ls / Outlines
« on: May 27, 2010, 12:05:25 PM »
I've heard a lot about the outlines for law school and several books have mentioned them but I have yet to see one or to understand how they differ from more traditional outlines.  Also, could someone explain and perhaps post a link to a sample outline for say Torts, Civ Pro, Contracts or Property?

Widener U School of Law / Widener's Accepted Applicant Picnic
« on: May 27, 2010, 12:02:04 PM »
Just wondering if anyone was going to the Accepted Applicant Picnic on on Tuesday, June 22, 2010 ?  I went to preview day and spent most of my time taling with the professors but it would be nice to get to know some classmates.

Just wondering whose going to preview day on Saturday April 17, 2010?  And also if there are any Widener students that could let us know what to expect.
