Considering the dismissal, the ADHD, and applying for January 2011 admission, hopefully Cooley will be willing to take me.

Thank you so much for your help Numitor. I really appreciate it.

Thanks, I'll definitely consider that if all else fails.  I'm re-taking the LSAT Monday and then applying for January 2011 admission.  So hopefully, the schools will give me a chance.

Thank you.

I haven't looked into that. What does CA law school entail?

I was diagnosed after my first time in law school.  It went undiagnosed my entire life, after the dismissal I knew something was wrong. I always did ok in school, but made a lot of careless mistakes, no teacher bothered to think that was a problem.  So, since the diagnosis I've been on meds and have been taught techniques to focus when studying.

I'm not looking at a part-time program in terms of the work being easier.  My focus is to get my foot in the door and prove myself then.

I would be coming back to law school after a dismissal.  I was diagnosed with ADHD and figured a part time program may be better for me to start off with.  That would be the main reason I would apply to a part time program.  I don't know if that's a strong enough reason for admissions offices.

I was wondering if anyone knows: Are the odds better to get into a part time program than they are for a full time program.?

Thank you so much!

That's a great concern of mine. I feared that I may be shunned due to my circumstances, and not be granted admission.  I guess then it's all just a matter of demonstrating to the schools, in my personal statement and addendum, that I really am capable of doing the work.

I was matriculated in a Tier 4 law school in the Fall of 2008.  After one semester I was academically dismissed.  I studied for hours on end and despite my intense nerves thought I did enough to still be in good standing.  Trying to see what went wrong I decided to be tested and I was diagnosed with ADHD.  I have enrolled to get my MBA and I currently have a 3.0.  I am currently working on reapplying and re-taking the LSAT.  Does anyone know if I would have a chance of getting back in considering my situation.  Thanks!
