Just wondering is anyone has received their 1L schedule as of yet? I'm getting a little apprehensive...

Also consider this:
This site if for people who enjoy engaging in, what I will call for lack of a better term, a massive pissing contest. They congratulate how elite their position on a normal curve allows for a score placing that was originally designed for WWII fighter pilots. The LSAT has, and always will be, bull. But it's what we have, so don't take any lower teir attacks to heart. I question myself all the time why I even bother reading this self-congratulatory site.
Don't forget the Coronado is connected to two other buildings, Lindell Towers East and West, which, in my opinion, are just as nice and just as close but for slightly cheaper. Those are the buildings I've "applied" to. Something to consider. See you guys in the fall.
One of the main reasons I'm leaving LA is because of Katrina. 1/3 of our already meager economy gone. And I would be hardpressed to believe it's all going to just snap back the same, much less bigger, in the 3 years coming out with a law degree. Our officals, Blanco and Nagin to name a few, have a very long history, oh close to 300 years, of screwing everything up in this state. Rememeber we haven't have an insurance commissioner not jailed in decades? Edwards? It's a culture of ineptness. God willing, that'll change, but I'm not betting my future on it. So if you stay in LA, study common law. Screw civil. Napoleon's dead.
I just paid my seat deposit at SLU -- I couldn't be more excited. Keep in mind, however, I'm coming from Katrina-wrecked Louisiana, so the prospect of living in a place where I will never have to worry about another cat-5 again is definately a bonus. Not to mention our largest industry is crawfish.
