Got in off waitlist at Oregon a couple weeks ago.

Utah, sent a letter stating they have accepted some people off the waitlist for their first go around and want to know if I want to remain on the list.

you going to dinner tomorrow night?

yeah, I'm going tonight.  I'm not sure how many people are going to be there but it will be nice to at least recognize one face when I show up at orientation.

a season pass to Vail, Breckinridge, Beaver Creek, Keystone and ABasin is just $350!  Cost of living is very reasonable.

Do you have a link to this?  I've been eying the $350 ticket to Winter Park and Copper Mountain.  I don't know the area at all really but looking at a map it looks like those are the two closest ski resorts to town, easier to get to and from and still possibly study the same day on the weekends.

If you're from there where would you suggest getting a season pass to?

I'll also be there in August.

Yesterday I got an email from one of the assistant deans of admission saying he was going to be in Austin next Tuesday and invited me and a few other future students to dinner.  Should be interesting.

I'm not a Texas fan (especially since the rejected me), nor do I like the company I work for now but Vince Young just signed his first endorsement deal with my company.

Seat deposit was paid at Denver today.

I applied to Texas on 12/2 and got my rejection today dated 4/7, I think this means they obviously looked at my app at least twice.  Because of the long time frame I was expecting the possibly a waitlist but no such luck.
