I did the facebook thing too...at work today...so I don't have a picture up or anything on there yet.  I too felt like a total dork, but I got over it when I saw there were already 13 people on there :)

Every time I do something little like that I get ridiculously excited for BC.

FYI for all you people that live in Boston, there is a new sushi restaurant that opened on Dartmouth street called Douzo or something...I tried it last night and the meals are not worth the hype.  I didn't try the sushi, but my friend said it was pretty good.  Not better than Fugakyu in my opinion.

Also, for people new to boston, let me know if you have any general questions.  I can probably answer them.  Directions, however, I cannot do--mainly because I walk or T it everywhere, and I don't have a great sense of direction to begin with.

Have any of you guys who are taking out loans gotten information about your financial aid packages yet?

The alumni are here to help you.  If you need help, just ask someone.  Have a great year.

Ahh. clearly.  Ok.

I'm supposed to be sticking labels on file folders....shoot me now

It really wasn’t that big a deal.  It was just a few people talking about how we’ll get “help”.

I’ll bet less than 100 1Ls showed up.

"Help"?  Help with what?  I'm so confused.  I missed it too.

I am awesome and slept through it (read, my first day off of work in months and when the alarm went of I turned it off instead of hitting snooze) so I would love to be filled in, as well.

Hey everyone,

I just wanted to let you all know that there is a summer reading list up for us on the website.  It's not a "mandatory list" but it is a list of suggestions and recommendations from professors regarding books that best prepare students for 1L

Two of the books are by Derrick Bell, I heard him speak at BC this spring at the Education Law forum and he was a very engaging and thoughtful speaker.  He is very well thought of at BC Law.

Just thought i'd give you the heads up!

I was WL Rejected as well.  Got the letter on Saturday.
Oh well.  I'm more than happy to be going to BC :)

Yeah, I was pretty excited when I got it. I read it right away :)
I live in Boston now so I don't have to worry about a Sept lease.  I would recommend and August 1 if you can, though, if only so you are settled in before you start school!
