I agree. You can't hold the school responsible for the actions of its founder, but it is negative publicity that a tier 3 school does not need. I'm not going to withdraw, but it is sad to hear something negative will be associated with a fabulous school that does a lot to promote the environment. It is similar to the situation Appalachian Law faced when a student went on a shooting spree and murdered the dean and some students (I believe 2). Although that does kind of say what kind of students are admitted into Appalachian...

I withdrew from Appalachian despite my full scholarship there. It was my safety and I really had no intention of going there unless everyone else rejected me. I just wrote up a very nice letter and faxed it to the admissions office. I'm sure they were quite upset to loose me...

We have a few schools in common! Pace is beautiful! I loved it when I interviewed there and have been dreaming of admission ever since (pathetic I know). Did you go early decision? If so, they are sending out letters today. I called there and kinda conned them into telling me over the phone.
