I just came back from an amazing vacation in the Dominican Republic to find a long awaited rejection from Cardozo. I was expecting this for a looooong time, but it still hurts. I'm going to go curl up in a ball and cry now.

Do other state schools have residency requirements like UNC... I would love if Rutgers did! Finally being a lifelong Jersey resident would pay off!

I've never heard of anyone getting their money back. I believe once you send it, it's theirs. I put a stop payment on CUNY's check (they made me really mad)... that was my way of withdrawing. I don't reccommend doing that though.

I withdrew from Appalachian as soon as I got my acceptance from Albany. The only way I was going to Appalachian was if I didn't get in anywhere else. I faxed them over a nice, but short letter thanking them for the full scholarship and that I would not be attending. I have't heard from them since so I'm assuming that was good enough for them.
So if anyone out there is pineing to get into Appalachian (which I'm sure is a fine institution) or is on their waitlist, your chances have just improved! You can thank me later. 15

If you are unsure of your application status just call up the school or drop them an email. It has worked for me and given me just little peace of mind.

I feel your pain Catwood. I'm sure our apps are probably sitting right next to each other. I went complete exactly 2 months and 8 days ago. Good Luck to you, hopefully we will get some good news soon!

I wouldn't go to Drexel since it is not acredited. Why take your chances? Yes the school has a good rep, but anything can happen... what if it dosen't get acredited, you won't be able to sit for the bar in most states (NJ for sure).
