Studying for the LSAT / Re: Anybody Have "First Time Reports" Sent?
« on: December 22, 2005, 07:21:55 PM »
my report screen just started changing: i'd post a pic if i could figure out how... but earlier it just said 'first time report' (prolly for my '03 test) next to each school i applied to, and now it also says 'score' in a different cell below the 'first time report' cell/square - so hopefully they are at least getting the scores to the people that need em the most...

Studying for the LSAT / 170->180
« on: December 18, 2005, 07:03:20 PM »
I was wondering why so many people (on here at least - VERY representative of the pool...haha) appear to rewrite with a ~170 hoping for a bit higher.  From 170 up you are in the top 2 percentiles.  For "index score only" schools, is the percentile or the score used in the formula?

Studying for the LSAT / Re: December 1996 LG (LGB Page 79)

yea i cant completely remember that one but i think you are supposed to see that there is only enough room for one of the entities to appear 2x and the appearance of 1 requires the appearance of one of the others and somehow it qould require 2 appearing 2x which cannot occur (or am i way off?!?)  meh who knows - the book is still in the trunk of my car... i could be thinking of another one

Studying for the LSAT / Questions dropped
« on: December 13, 2005, 02:51:10 PM »
OK this may be a stupid question, but if questions are found to be flawed and dropped, does that mean if you got that question correct you lose 1 point (go from 80 of 101, to 79 of 100)? or are the flawed questions just dropped from the total possible (go from 80 of 101, to 80 of 100)?
