Wait List / Re: Notre Dame "provisional list"

;D  I'm sorry, but, it isn't over yet.  I think if the class was full, they would've just said that.  Maybe they are actually trying to bring a few of us in.

On the blog "Closeduniverse" that und09 posted the link for a few pages back, that guy got a call on Saturday afternoon.  :-\

GOOD LUCK DRAMGAL! I will try to monitor the action form my Torts class via wireless.  If I get a call, I wont even wait for class to end before I get up, and make the mad dash to South Bend.

GOODLUCK BTK!!!  I am ready to hop on a jet... But what I sincerely hope, is that I will see a few of us there.  That would be.... nice  :)

Law school is a huge investment... Take the time off, study your butt off, and retake!
You also will have the advantage of having your highest score count rather than the average next time around.  Good Luck!

And DEFINATELY take a prep course... I highly recommend PowerScore and to stay away from Kaplan.

Many schools are still averaging 3 scores, though, so it's not something you can count on. Unless the OP can do significantly better, her average is not going to be that different from her current highest score.

Even if the schools are still averaging, a number of schools before LSAC started allowing the report of the highest score, would take it if you scored 6 points higher which is totally possible with some real study effort and a prep course.  Either way, I think it's better if she holds off going to a school she really does not want to go to and is outside of the region she wishes to work in upon graduation.  I really don't think she has anything to lose, but she has alot more to gain by a retake.

Where should I go next fall? / Re: help me!! BU v. Fordham

Suzieq go to Fordham, you have been harping on Fordham for months!  It seems like that is where you will be the most happy so go for it.  As far as living at home with your parents, it doesn't have to be longterm, you can get a room-mate and live in the city next semester or next year.

Better hurry up and make up your mind, we have required reading due by orientation next week  ;).
