Choosing the Right Law School / T = Top??? Quick question . . .
« on: April 16, 2007, 10:05:38 AM »
Bear with me because I'm new to all of this - - I'm sure it's a simple concept but can someone give me a quick explanation of the rankings?

I understand "Top 100" and Tier 3, Tier 4 but what do people mean when they refer to a T25 school, T14, T30??

Is it really as simple as a school in the Top 25, Top 14?

I can't find the search function on the board . . .

Incoming 1Ls / Experience with Law Crossing?
« on: March 24, 2007, 02:36:29 PM »
I won't be starting law school until Fall 2008 because of some timing issues. However, in the meantime, I wanted to get a job in a law office or something law related.

Has anyone had any experience with Law Crossing??

I'm usually a little weary when I have to pay for a subscription but it might be worth it?

Studying for the LSAT / Hard vs. Easy LSAT
« on: December 12, 2005, 12:30:53 PM »
While I've still got time to study, a friend of mine just took the Dec. LSAT. This guy there said, "I hope I get an easy version."

She asked him what the heck he was talking about and he told her that there are different versions of the LSAT and some people get the "easy" one, some get the "hard" one. They then factor which level of difficulty you had when grading.

We thought he just doesn't know what he's talking about but when she felt she did pretty good after the test, she was worried she may have just gotten an easy one.

Please tell me he's making it up and there is only ONE version of the LSAT handed out. Or did I miss something somewhere?
