Black Law Student Discussion Board / megasplitter - ED to Chicago?

I was directed here after getting a few responses from my TLS thread.
172/168 2.71 (strong upward grade trend, solid gpa addendum) AA male. Failed @ T14 last cycle with a 168 2.31 and late January complete dates (will be sending out apps by Oct 23 this cycle). Also, I was WL at some of the schools before withdrawing to reapply.

I didn't apply to the bolded schools above last cycle.
Chicago is far and away my top choice, but I don't want to waste my ED shot at a school that would auto-reject me. I've spoken with some 1Ls and 2Ls at Chicago and they said I should go ahead and ED. The BLSA president met with the Dean of Admissions and some other administration officials and this cycle they are going to try and get a lot more URMs, supposedly. Any advice is greatly appreciated!!
