I'm not sure if it was a great writing sample, but the Dean of ASU seemed to be touched by it by her comments on my acceptance letter. I think you're all good anywhere between two and three pages. Don't go under two, and don't go over three. 43

I hope they don't revoke my acceptances once they find out I cheated, dammit!! Yeah, I grew up about 40 minutes straight east of there on I94. I had a blast going out on Grand after admitted students' day, and my Mom REALLY wanted me to go there so I'd be close to home. I strongly considered it and that's where I'd be if ASU hadn't accepted me. 48

I've been on Mill once... I was visting a friend over New Year's and we hung out there a little bit among the throngs of Ohio State and Notre Dame fans in town for the Fiesta Bowl. Very fun time.

(sensitive eyes look aw« on: July 05, 2006, 02:21:10 PM »I just viewed the PS like any other 800 word assignment and had it out inside an afternoon. I was the same way. I tossed around a couple ideas in my head while at work, came home, turned on my computer, and wrote my PS in 15 minutes. I sent it out to some friends and made some minor grammar and wordiness changes, but for all intents in purposes my PS was done. Then again, it was also December for me so I didn't have the time to spare, either. I wish I had some advice because I know how taxing the application process is, but I really don't. The PS just came easy to me. |
