morning wood  :P

For you or your partner?  ;)

for both of course  :)

Btw, regarding the dream thing...the worst part of waking up has got to be if you wake up in the middle of an amazing dream, only to find out it isn't reality. Like dreaming you got accepted to UVa LS, only to find out it was a dream...argggh

Wait, how are applicants down and applications up?

Less people applying to more schools?

Oh ok, i was thinking more in terms of isolated schools' applications, since all that really matters is how many applications per school, not how many applications/person.

Yup, another waitlist here (Notre Dame).

Waitlisted at Notre Dame...second waitlist after the UVa WL on Friday. On the bright side, I've at least been getting decisions, though not the ones I would lik e :P

I honestly think if I don't get any acceptances this week, thats it for me.  :(

Law School Applications / Re: Accepted TODAY !!

Ok guys, in at Yale.  And as I've stated earlier:  If a Yale acceptance were to come along, NOTHING else in my world would matter... I have thus withdrawn from absolutely everywhere but Yale.  It's been one amazing miracle after another.  First UMich and then Yale.  I'm ecstatic!!  Oh, and I haven't slept in going on 48 hours either.   ;D

Umm dude. FREAKING amazing...congratulations. damn.

Does anyone know whether schools usually don't give any consideration to apps filled out after the deadline? Or do they cut you some slack?

Check your status, peeps. Mine updated to "decision" on March 2. I think a lot of us got caught up in the UVa decision/waitlist tide and didn't check. At least that's what happened to me. I'm in DC so I should get my decision Monday/Tuesday, depending on when they send it.

Nothing for me.  Again.   :(

I'm kinda losing faith in any more acceptances.

Just wondering though.  Lets say you went complete in December.  It's still possible to get accepted somewhere even though a school's accepted a lot of people aleady and the numbers are... well you know.

I'm really starting to agree with you. I'd say give it this coming week, which seems key, before losing hope. I'm sure it's still possible to get accepted but it just seems like schools have sent out their acceptances in huge batches, so I'm not sure what the deal is. Perhaps they're waiting to make a final decision on borderline candidates (me) based on how the rest of their applicant pool shapes up.
