General Off-Topic Board / Re: Avatar

This Movie was friggin AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Probably the best I've seen in years (with the exception of the Harry Potter movies)! I was kind of suprised when I heard that there are people protesting it because it supposedly shows American soldiers in a bad light during "these trying times".  What idiots.........its just a movie & a darn good one at that!

Roger Williams / Re: The WORST law shool for employment
« on: December 16, 2009, 09:03:15 PM »
People on this board have a bad habit of kicking other people when they're down.  I understand being optimistic about your future career, but to me that dosen't justify kicking someone in the pants who has yet been able to achieve the success you aspire to attain.

This guy is already admitting he made a mistake.  The last thing he needs is you guys telling him how stupid he is (or something of the like).

And OP keep your head up.  I'm sure something will work out.

Studying for the LSAT / Re: Who's in for February 2010?
« on: November 24, 2009, 11:57:06 AM »
Well I'm in! Got Scared for December and Pushed it back..  :-[ But I'm ROCKIN IT in February!!!!

I too had been registered for the December LSAT.  Like you I became discouraged when the date started to draw near.  I figured since I hadn't studied much since fall semester began I would do horribly.  So I paid 66 flippin dollars that probably should have went to one of my many bills to reschedule for the Feb. test.  I began studying again a couple days ago and now I regret switching dates. I so feel like I could rock the december test right now! What a waste of 66 bucks!

out of curiousity what are these negative aspects of taking the test in feb. that some people are talking about?

Why the hell do you wanna go to CLS?

Oooops! I guess I had a little bit of a brain fart!  I just now realized you were probably talking about Columbia.  I live in Charlotte and whenever someone says CLS I immediately think think of the newly founded disastrous Charlotte Law School..............GOOD LUCK HUN!

I wish I had time to read for my own enjoyment! Right now all the LSAT prep I can get my hands on, and whatever pointless readings required for my current courses  :-[

Law School Applications / Re: Best type of sandwich?
« on: November 12, 2009, 11:25:18 AM »
I had the most delicious sandwich from the cafe' on campus this morning.  Sandwiched between a toasty wheat bagel were tomatoes and mushrooms covered in american cheese melted to perfection..........yumm yumm!

Hi I'm Sheila. I'm a senior at UNC Charlotte.  I'll be applying for law school next fall also.  Like you I actually planned on going into investment banking, but because of the poor economy I also decided that law school might be the best bet to wait it out.  I honestly have always had a desire to practice law.  I suppose I was just a little turned off by the very idea of law school at first, but now I can't wait to get UG over with so I can get there.

And oh yeah I did this quiz on facebook last night that said I was most like Michelle Obama....LOL!
