I would say Brooklyn; I just spoke to a 3L at Rutgers (Camden) yesterday who transferred from Emory after his 1L (personal reasons) and was really happy with his decision. He did not want to be stuck in the South for three years and perhaps more. Good luck whatever you decide to do!

Thanks GhostofTomJoad! Unfortunately being a non-US citizen, I do not qualify for in-state at Rutgers despite the fact that I've been living in NJ for over 2 yrs now. I agree with you on the employment prospects at Syr vs. Rutgers; plus the current students at Rutgers had amazing things to say about the faculty there. Good luck to all of you for the coming three years!!

Thank you so much guys - all your comments are really helpful! I've pretty much made up my mind to go to Rutgers (despite no money). Rutgers has a great alumni network around the tri-state area, which hopefully works out from the employment perspective. Good luck to all of you!!

Thanks Remarq! I'm an international student so I'll be paying out-of-state tuition. I want to specialize in either corporate law or taxation, and want to work in northeast. Thanks so much for your thoughts!

No one has any opinion on this?   ???

Hello! I need some thoughts on whether I should go for Syracuse with a tuition scholarship of $26k/$43k renewable over three year or for Rutgers Camden without any $$$s. I don't care much about location (as long as I am within commutable distance from NYC). My goal is to do well at 1L and hopefully move to a top 50 school next year. Any thoughts will be much greatly appreciated!!

Thanks so much and good luck!
