Transferring / class ranking

my registrar informed me that the school does not provide class rankings to 3rd parties. I need that class ranking to transfer school. Does anyone know what I should do?

Transferring / Dean's Letter of good standing
« on: June 08, 2009, 07:34:20 PM »
Hi everyone, thanks for all the help so far.
I'm in the middle of this transfer process. I would like to know something. Given that I'm interested in about 6 schools to transfer to, do you really tell the Dean you want them to mail the letter of standing to 6 different places?
I wonder if people get pissed if you ask for so many.

General Board / Re: Less is More?

I'm not sure if really less is more. It's about how to study in the smartest and most efficient manner.
I found that each class requires a different approach. I think it's about knowing what the professor wants and tailor your study method to the professor's style.

General Board / Re: Anyone Kinda Wish They Could Do 1L Again?
« on: June 06, 2009, 11:34:31 PM »
Looking back now, I do wish I could do 1L again. I came to law school with zero legal background and I didn't even know what the heck IRAC was just to tell you how little I knew of law school. I wish I had read some books on how to do well in law school and at least some nutshell series to get me started thinking about these classes, you know at least get into a legal mind frame.  When you are graded on a B curve, you cannot afford to fall behind too much and so everything you can read in advance will help you. That's some advice I will give to future incoming students too.
