I have recently transferred to DePaul law. What does everyone think of DePaul especially for someone who wants to do patent law in the Chicago legal market?

An employer sometimes asks that the interviewee bring in an undergraduate transcript to the interview. For anyone who has been through this, how much weight does the employer give to your undergraduate performance?

Thanks people for being so helpful so far. My question to you is when I first contacted various employers, I had on my resume the name of a school which I am in the process of tranferring out of. What do you tell employers, especially at a job interview, that you have transferred out of that school and are now enrolled in another school? Will your transferring decision change the way your future employers view you as a job candidate?
I would appreciate some insight on this. I am certain that many people have been in this situation before. Thanks. 15

my registrar informed me that the school does not provide class rankings to 3rd parties. I need that class ranking to transfer school. Does anyone know what I should do?

Hi everyone, thanks for all the help so far.
I'm in the middle of this transfer process. I would like to know something. Given that I'm interested in about 6 schools to transfer to, do you really tell the Dean you want them to mail the letter of standing to 6 different places? I wonder if people get pissed if you ask for so many. 18

Hi everyone -
First of all, I find this board really helpful. Thanks for your help everyone. I have one concern. I am interested in transferring. Why is it that for some lower ranked schools, tranfer applicants need to be ranked in the top 5-10% of their class; whereas for some of the higher ranked schools, those schools seem to be generally more lenient about the class ranking, ie top 1/3 of the class?
