Studying for the LSAT / A different (new) LR?
« on: December 14, 2005, 06:41:02 AM »
I just woke up with a LR question in my head that I think might be from the test.

Something about poetry is art and rhymes, sp?
Paintings are art and something else...
Then Lymrics are great works of literature by do not rhyme, so, can they be classified as art?

Can anyone else remember the question?  was it from the test?  if it was, there is something that we have extra on the post mortem....

I know, I know, my spelling is terrible in the morning  :-\

Anyone want to read?

I will read yours in return.

I really have no idea if this is good or not - it is so much harder than I thought to write about my own life....

Studying for the LSAT / WOOOHOOO One more final to go....

Studying for the LSAT / bad timing
« on: December 01, 2005, 04:47:20 AM »
Eh...two days before the LSAT and I wake up with a bad cold....
But, I am still going to take the test and hope for the best...

Anyone have any idea of what to take that will not affect your performance?  I usually go for dayquill but it makes me feel like a zombie, not the desired effect on test day....  :-\

Good Luck to everyone!  I hope we all do great and get into our top choice!!!!

Choosing the Right Law School / Tulane
« on: November 23, 2005, 06:38:41 PM »
Anyone applying?
Anyone know the real deal?  I talked to an admissions counselor at the law school forum in Texas, as she said, "We are expecting the same number of applicants...but...."

Anyone have any idea of that is really going on with applications there for Fall 06?  I know they are starting back up again in spring; has anyone seen the present state of the campus (and do you think it will be back in working order by next fall)?

Studying for the LSAT / Apply now or wait it out?
« on: November 23, 2005, 06:18:22 PM »
What do y'all think is a better idea for someone taking the Dec LSAT?  Apply before the test so admissions looks at the app. earlier, or wait to see the results (and possibly save some $$ if my score ends up lower than I expect)?

Also, does anyone know what the situation is at Tulane with Fall 06 apps?  Are they going to be easier than past years for admission, or are they taking a smaller class?  All I have heard is from an admissions counselor, "We plan on getting the same number of applications, blah blah blah..."  Anyone have the real deal????
