New England / Any ideas of speciality
« on: May 04, 2009, 03:16:13 PM »
I have a question regarding speciality in NESL.

I recently have been accepted to NESL (which I am going to attend) and noticed letters regarding speciality.

I was wondering when should you "specialize" in an area of law? Or is it even needed.

My background is:

A Crim Just Bachelors from Rutgers University.
Internship at the Women Aware DV Agency under Dr. C Lischick, PhD, DVS (p.s. I believe I was the only male intern ever)
Continued volunteer work through the Outreach office of Women Aware, advocating for DV Victims in family court.
Volunteer work with the NJ Monmouth County Probation Department under Mr. Yorker, former law school graduate.

Any help would be nice. Thanks.
