See, now I'm concerned, because other midwest people are getting their letters, and I got nothing >:(

If you changed to decision with everyone else, you're in. Don't stress yourself out, it will probably arrive tomorrow. I received mine today in TX, but sometimes it takes longer to receive letters than people on the east coast.

Got the letter in the mail today! $350 deposit by May 9th...more transfer student info will be placed on admitted student site in the next few weeks.

May 9th!!!?? So soon. What if Uof C hasn't made up their mind yet? I'm def. going to lose money somehow. What about fin. aid/tuition. Are there more steps to figure all of that stuff out? Sorry, my mailman is taking his sweet time.

No, I don't believe it is rolling.

I have a question though, it seems so many of the people accepted will be going to better schools than GULC. If I'm first in my class, i wouldn't be going to GULC. For how many of you was this a backup?

I'm happy about getting into GULC (well, hopefully that letter is an acceptance), so I won't say it's a backup. With that said, I did apply to UofC ED just because the opportunity was too tempting. I'm at UT now so the small bump to GULC is not all that great, but UofC would be a higher bump. Not holding my breath on Chicago though.

I would really, really question the logic of going from good grades at Texas to GULC, unless you're a DC-or-Bust guy.

Agreed... unless you absolutely hate UT (it is two years of your life after all).

No, not really a "DC-or- bust" girl, and I love UT, but am not happy wih my financial aid (or lack thereof). GULC is just another option just in case I can't establish in state residency, and feel the need to spend 40K at a higher rank.

First time poster.  My file says "decision," but I'm not sure if it went decision last night or today (I didn't check last night).  My file was last updated on April 20th (today).  Did anyone go decision and then subsequently have their file updated?

I went decision last night, and yes, it was re-updated today but saying the smae thing it said at midnight. Everyone who went decision at midnight still had it say the 17th on the log-on screen at midnight even though it was updated. I think you probably went decision last night. I haven't heard any recent changes today. If there are any more rounds of decisions, they'll probably happen at midniht not 5:00.
