Oh, how was the tour?
Does campus suck as much as my mother says? (this is an honest question, I haven't been on campus yet).
The area IS as bad as they probably say it is (although not so much during the day since it's downtown), but it is more walled in than USC, it's almost like a compound-you come in through the parking lot where they have security, and anywhere you see a door leading to the street, there is a pretty well locked gate between it and the sidewalk. It doesn't seem like there's many feasable ways to get in the building, although I didn't check for more entrances, it seems pretty damn well locked down.
The inside is quite small considering the size of the school, but it is a commuters school and therefore doesn't require as much place. It doesn't seem like it's all that neat to hang out on, so that may be an issue for you, the library is nice but it doesn't seem like you'd want to spend all your time there. However, the architecture, and the overall look of the inside was very nice, I have no issues with it at all, but I also don't care to "hang" out on campus which seems like the only thing that it's a bit limited for (although it does have places to go to like the student lounge/cafeteria).
