Law School Admissions / Importance of EC activities?
« on: December 07, 2005, 10:27:34 PM »
I really don't have much, helped a friend run for a position (but he never ran before so it was more of a learning experience for him), am part of a few lame clubs, was in a fraternity (I don't know if this is positive) and held a position for a year.

Other than this, all I have is working experience, all entry-level college jobs.

Additionally, although I have worked a lot, my GPA suffered and I have a 3.0 (3.30) GPA, so I'm worried that my lack of extra-curricular activities, and Law-based jobs may hurt me in my applications.

Just wondered if any of you had your .02 on this...

Ok, I have no idea where to start on mine, although I do have a couple of rough ideas that I want to get into, but I've read one PS, and don't think mine is going to be shaped or similar to that one in any bit.

I was wondering if people did not mind me reading their PS (I'm just trying to get ideas from seeing what directions other people wrote theirs in, I obviously have my own personal stuff I am going to write about), I think I am afraid to just start writing without any idea of what one is supposed to look like, so I just want to see how some examples look...

I don't know if this is too much to ask, but let me know!

Studying for the LSAT / What do you guys think about....
« on: December 03, 2005, 08:17:13 PM »
The Sabbath observers??  I know someone taking the LSAT on Monday, and I see tons of questions posted up on here (now I'm not knocking the questions posted on here, it's real assuring to know which section was the experimental and to be able to take guesses at how we did on certain sections, although it makes me really nervous), but wouldn't all those people be able to get a bunch of questions off of here??
