I'm with you, Chombi.

Moreover, I live in Cambridge and should get Harvard mail the next day.

I'm from New York, and I've generally found Boston nightlife to be very lame.

However, I was pleasantly surprised by the bar scene in Cambridge and its surroundings. Central, Porter, and Davis Squares each have some chill places with good brew on tap, and the area attracts a far more down to earth crowd than most in Boston proper. There's also a lot of good live music.

Tufts is a 15 minute walk (or five minute shuttle ride) from Davis Square. It's not an awful location.

I was at that Broken Social Scene show and second your sentiments.

Edit: Maybe I shouldn't give away my home away from home in college so soon. :)

I'll add my two cents to the Boston nightlife discussion after dinner.

Law School Applications / Re: No news from Harvard or Stanford yet

I also went complete at Stanford on 11/7 and at Harvard on 11/29.

I was rejected at Stanford yesterday but have yet to hear from Harvard, and I live in Cambridge.

Denials / Re: Stanford DING!

I just received my DING! up in Boston this afternoon.

I wish that Harvard would get theirs over with. I was complete in late November at both.

I did an off campus interview as well, with an alum. I thought it went well.

Roxylaw, I went complete back in late October. You still have time.

Likewise. It complements my four deferrals well.

Ditto. Until late May, my friends.

It's true... this is very strange.

BTW, I'm around 166/3.8. I'll be less than a year out of UG.

Maybe we're in for early waitlists? Sigh.
