I had three of my professors submit letter of recommendations four years ago. I have been pushing law school off for that amount of time. Do you think I need to submit more contemporary recommendations? Thank you in advance.

Hello all: Based on my GPA/LSAT score where do I have a legitimate chance of being admitted. Just to give some background info about me. I am an African American male who once lived in a homeless shelter and grew up poor. Thanks for any assistance you can provide me.

I'm not sure if this question was asked in an earlier thread, but I can't afford to pay for an expensive Lsat prep course. So I'm currently in the process of purchasing Lsat prep study books. The only problem is that I don't know which book(s) to purchase. If any of you guys have any recommendations please let me know. Thank you in advance....By the way, this law school admissions process is quite stressful.

Hello all, I just wanted to know how everyone felt about economic AA? I recently became an opponent of race based AA. I posted my newly found opionion on BLSD and nearly everyone personally attacked me. I simply argued that race based AA benefits the upper class URM's. Many felt that my assertion was inaccurate. However, no one offered me a good counter-argument. No one told me why my argument was faux. It was somewhat sad, I take it that most of them are probably upper class URM's and felt that I was attacking them personally. FYI, I am a poor African American male. Hey guys, I just wanted to know what everyone thought about Affirmative Action. I am a poor African American from New York. I was in class the other day and me and one of my contemporaries got into a debate about Affirmative Action. She stated that she was not firmly opposed to affirmative action, but she felt that it should be revised. One idea that she threw out was making it economic based instead of race based. When I heard this idea I automatically agreed with her. Arguably, I have more in common with a poor White American than I do with a wealthy or middle class Black American. A poor White american has more struggles than a middle clas or wealthy Black American, therefore it is harder for them to obtain the stats needed to be admitted into law school. With that in mind, I just wanted to find out if everyone thinks that this is a great idea. Affirmative Action mostly benefits middle class and wealthy URM's. If it was economic based, perhaps it would be more accepted among mainstream Americans. Don't get me wrong, I am a huge proponent of Affirmative Action, I just think that this is a logical proposal.

Hello all, I was wondering what everyone thought about St. John's University School of Law in New York. Is it a good school? Is it a good enviroment for minority students? What type of job opportunities would a student have upon graduation? Thanks for your help.
