one of the profs writing a letter for me just got around to sending it on the 20th (it only took him 2 months) and it still hasnt been processed, should i worry about it or is this a normal amount of time? it seemed like my other letter was processed more quickly but that wasnt around the holidays.

chiashu and lsac give me very different results for the same schools, for some lsac is more optimistic, and for other lsac is, i waste too much time looking at those things anyway.

i dont really see how waiting a year, my numbers arent t-14 worthy even if i apply early because my lsac gpa is dragged down by some old county college grades and i dont want to waste another year before getting my career going.  i think you're right, i'll probably go to a higher ranked school assuming i get into one.  i'll decide after i visit the places i've been accepted to.
thanks for your help.

no i definitely don't count on transferring and i'm not applying anywhere i wouldnt be willing to spend 3 years at, but i do want to keep my options open, and if everything else is equal but one place would be easier for me to transfer to a t-14 from that would be a consideration.  i'm also wondering if these schools arent more national and whether my degree would be more marketable if i decide i want to practice outside the nyc area.  what are the advantages of going to a school like w&l which is ranked 22 and rutgers which is ranked #73?  or does it not matter once you're outside the t-14?
